  We have a missionary friend in Haiti. Thankfully she was not injured since she teaches some 80 miles from the epicenter of the quake. We sent $105.00 from 2 envelopes thru OMS (Oriental missionary society) and her name so that Jesus name may be made more famous to her students or anyone else involved in the rebuilding process.

- “Making His Name More Famous” My Investment/Story:
  
  I went to the mailbox to pick up my mail and my neighbor had a U-Haul parked in his driveway. I asked if he was moving to which he replied that his friends were moving out. I knew his wife had left him and their daughter a couple months ago and he was out of work. His 9 year old daughter is missing her mom and he was going to try to scrape enough money to buy hot dogs and a cake and have a party for her 10th birthday the following Saturday. He too is missing his wife and hoping to work things out with her. I asked him if he could use $20.00 and he was thrilled. I told him about our series we are going through at church and the irony of the U-Haul that was parked in his driveway. He said his daughter has been asking him to go to church and what time our services were. I encouraged him that there are a lot of families struggling through similar issues and COC would be a source of encouragement and hope for his whole family. Thank you for opening the door to share the love of our Great God!!
